THE LIVES WE LEAD ( series 1 )
From 2019, we created a first round of 18 stories showcasing people with disability across WA ‘leading their lives’. The brief was to raise the expectation of what people with disability can offer and contribute in society. Our approach was not to be typically inspirational, but rather presenting each person as they are, like anyone else achieving and contributing. These stories of success in personal projects or worklife were mostly captured in Perth, and some of them in Halls Creek, Kununurra, Albany and Denmark. We came as a team of video and photography services and released weekly photo and video stories for their social media campaign. Through the review stage, we also worked with a reference team of people with lived experience. All the videos were made accessible with captions and audio visual descriptions, and some videos also included Auslan interpretation. Film production and video online launches began from July 2019 with the full series wrapped up by the end of the year, and with a Gala celebration to finish on International Day of People with Disability (3 Dec). In this gallery, there are about 12 of those stories. For all stories, visit theliveswelead.com.au

THE LIVES WE LEAD - WORKLIFE ( series 2 )
From 2020-2021, we hit the road to film 20 more stories for a second series called “The Lives We Lead - Worklife”. While following a similar brief to the first round, this time all of the stories focused on people with disability in their workplaces and all from the regional areas of Western Australia including aboriginal communities in the Kimberley, mining towns like Karratha, farm towns like Southern Cross, and beach towns like Busselton and Esperance. Production ran from September 2020 - August 2021 and the video stories were launched fortnightly as part of a social media campaign from April 2021. In this gallery, there are about 16 of those stories. For all stories, visit theliveswelead.com.au

THE LIVES WE LEAD - HOMELIFE ( series 3 )
From 2021-2023, we created 20 more stories for a third series called “The Lives We Lead - Homelife”.
This final chapter of the The Lives We Lead, Homelife shows how much of a difference it can make to the quality of one’s life when having your own home and the right supports. The Homelife branding symbolises how each person’s home is unique and individual as a fingerprint. The majority of these stories were captured in Perth WA, and a couple of them in Busselton and Northam. Production ran from November 2021 - January 2023 and the video stories were launched fortnightly as part of a social media campaign from September 2022. In this gallery, there are 19 of those stories. The final story was kept private due to change of living circumstances.
